DMMC Camp Rules
Donner Mine Music Camp has established camp rules
to create an enjoyable environment for all.

- ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONICS AT CAMP—This includes Cell phones, MP3 players, Stereos, Laptops, Tablets, TVs, Video Game Machines, Etc. Any Electronic Item discovered at camp will be confiscated and returned to the camper’s parents after the Friday night concert. Items can be retrieved from the Camp Coordinator, Trista Kennedy.
- All campers are considered guests of Donner Mine Camp. It is expected that they will conduct themselves with the consideration of others.
- Possession and/or consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or firearms are expressly prohibited. Zero Tolerance.
- There is NO RUNNING at camp.
- Closed-toe shoes are to be worn at ALL times. Sandals and bare feet are always prohibited.
- Campers must follow the DMMC Dress Code while at camp.
- The use of private cars by campers during their stay is prohibited.
- Campers are responsible for their own items and the security of their instrument.
- There is NO LOST AND FOUND at DMMC.
- Staff, Directors, and Counselors will not be responsible for theft, loss, or breakage of personal effects, money, or valuables.
- Campers will be responsible for breakage or damage to DMMC and/or Donner Mine Property.
- Attendance at all camp activities is required. Campers are expected to be on time for all rehearsals. Participation is expected.
- Campers cannot leave the camp boundaries unless accompanied by a counselor or staff member.
- All dorms are off-limits to the opposite gender. The girls’ dorm is off-limits to the boys. The boys’ dorm is off-limits to the girls. This includes counselors, staff, and PARENTS. This rule applies at all times.
- Doors to the dorms and lodge are to remain closed at night to keep rodents and bears out.
- Campers are required to remain in their dorms after taps at night.
- Campers are required to keep their bunks neat and clean.
- Please be respectful of the camp and its facilities. Do not litter the campgrounds. Help conserve by turning off lights and water when not in use and flushing toilets after use.
- All medications, in their original containers, are to be checked in with the nurse at the time of registration. Dosages will be dispensed at the nurses’ quarters. Medications are to be picked up by the camper’s parent BEFORE the Saturday night concert. Any medications not retrieved will be appropriately disposed of by the camp nurse.
- All federal, state, and county laws will be enforced.
