DMMC DRESS CODE
Donner Mine Music Camp has determined a specific standard of dress for all Campers, Counselors, and Staff.
At Donner Mine Music Camp, we believe that a dress code is essential for creating a focused and respectful environment conducive to musical learning and personal growth. Our dress code ensures that all campers are dressed comfortably and appropriately for various activities, including rehearsals, performances, and recreational outings. We believe in fostering a sense of unity, professionalism, and safety among campers. By defining acceptable attire, we aim to minimize distractions, promote equality, and encourage campers to express themselves through their musical talents rather than their clothing choices. We appreciate the understanding and support of our camp community in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

- Applicability: This dress code applies to all persons regardless of gender, identity, or preference, including campers, counselors, and staff members.
- Shirt Requirement: Shirts must be worn at all times, except when campers are showering.
- Safety and Appropriateness: As per the camp's discretion, clothing or appearance that is deemed unsafe or inappropriate, such as revealing private body parts or wearing attire that poses a safety hazard, is not allowed.
Respectful Attire:
- No Revealing Clothing: Clothing should adequately cover the body. This includes avoiding tops that expose any part of the breasts, shorts or pants that reveal undergarments or any portion of the buttocks, and skirts or dresses that are excessively short. - No Offensive Slogans or Symbols: Clothing and hats must not display offensive language, symbols, or images. This includes any text, symbols, or graphics that could be considered disrespectful, discriminatory, or disruptive to the camp environment.
- Prohibited Advertising: Clothing that advertises beer, alcohol, drugs, or related behaviors is not permitted.
Swimwear and Footwear:
- Swimwear Guidelines: No speedos allowed. All two-piece swimsuits must be accompanied by a cover-up at all times.
- Footwear Requirements: Closed-toe shoes are required at all times for safety. Sandals, flip-flops, and open-toe shoes are not permitted. Shower shoes or sandals may be worn when showering.
